We have a completely new design from Oneplus in this Oneplus 7 Pro with the triple camera in the back. There is no fingerprint sensor in the back as it shall be embedded within the display itself and a One plus branding is mandatory in the back. The back is made up of glass that looks stunning we just hope to get the Wireless charging support. Coming to the front we have a curved display which is a QHD one with then Gorilla Glass support and no notch time. Yes, there is no notch the display is notch-less and there is the pop-up mechanism for the selfie camera. There is USB Type C but no confirmation about the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The OnePlus 7 Pro has a 6.7-inches QHD+ Display with the resolution of 1440×3120 pixels. This is a 19.5:9 panel with the complete bezel-less design as there is no notch this time. This is because the selfie camera is moved to the pop-up part. Also, this is a curved display with the refresh rate of 90Hz.
The phone will feature Snapdragon 855 soc coupled with three Ram options namely 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB coupled with 128GB and 256GB Storage options that are UFS 3.0 storages. this time Oneplus decided to expand the battery going with 4000 mah battery capacity. This may be due to the increase in the size of the phone or just in the Pro version. It is possible that We may get same battery capacity in OP 7. They have also improved the charger giving a 30W Warp charger. There has to be an in display fingerprint sensor as we already had in the previous version. But the question is whether we will get an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor or the optical one?
The camera department is something really improved in the smartphone as we get triple camera option on the phone. The primary camera is expected to be a 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.6 aperture with HDR and OIS Support. The second sensor is an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture and the third camera is a 16-megapixel wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. It seems like they have really worked in the camera part and we are just getting excited to grab our hands on this smartphone.
The phone is also expected to have water resistance as they are calling it “Icy Smoot” experience.
It seems a great smartphone with such powerful specifications but the price is also too powerful crossing the 50000 marks. It has everything you look for in a flagship device. The only thing lacking is the headphone jack and the price Oneplus used to offer when it began its operation. But as the inflation rises and the specifications are getting better they slowly touched the 50000 price mark.
We are just excited to see the actual smartphone on May 14 and how it is accepted by the people.
What do you think why OnePlus is increasing the prices of their smartphones?
